Appointments can be made by telephone or in person . In order that we can keep waiting times to a minimum, please remember that appointments are for one person. If you have a number of problems that you wish to discuss with the doctor, please ask our reception staff to book you a double appointment. Urgent cases will be seen the same day, but not always by your usual doctor. If you cannot attend, please cancel as soon as possible. Please give our reception staff as much information as possible to enable them to give you the most appropriate appointment.
Pre-bookable appointments - if you wish to see a specific doctor and you would be prepared to wait to see them or need to plan ahead due to work commitments etc, you could ask to make a pre-bookable appointment. These appointments are usually available up to four weeks in advance.
Telephone consultations - if you would prefer to book a telephone consultation, please ask our reception staff about this.
We also have an on-line booking service, but you need to complete a registration form for this. Please contact our reception staff if you are interested in this system.

Please ask reception staff before booking your appointment.
LETTERS FROM HOSPITALS
If you have been an inpatient, or have been seen in the outpatient department at a hospital, please allow at least three weeks for any correspondence to be received by the practice before making an appointment with your usual doctor. This avoids wasting your time and ours. If you receive a letter from the hospital asking you to consult your GP, please confirm that we have received communication from them before making the appointment. Thank you.
So that we can provide an efficient service to all our patients, we need your help. If you cannot attend an appointment with any member of our health care team, we would be grateful if you could inform our reception staff in order that the appointment can be allocated to another patient.
